Release of “Tuned In” Comic Book on Wireless Communications

The SHIFT project is pleased to announce the release of a co-authored comic book “Tuned In”, now available online.


Developed by Coline Weinzaepflen and Chadi Jabbour (Telecom Paris), Tuned In invites readers to follow Jenny as she explores the invisible world of wireless communications. Through an engaging visual narrative, the comic introduces key concepts such as radio waves, the hidden mechanisms of mobile phones, and the evolution toward 5G technology. By combining storytelling with scientific insight, Tuned In makes complex topics accessible to a broad audience, fostering curiosity and understanding about how our connected world works.


Tuned In is part of the SHIFT initiative’s ongoing efforts to promote awareness and education around emerging communication technologies.


This work was carried out within the «Compétences et Métier d’Avenir» IMTfor5G+ project and funded by France 2030 and by «Banque des Territoires».
