SHIFT at Funding the Future of Space: Horizon Europe

SHIFT was presented at the Co-creation Workshop “Funding the Future of Space: Horizon Europe”, held from 22 October to 4 November 2025 in Riga, Latvia.

Organised within the framework of the TECHRITORY forum, the event brought together stakeholders from across Europe to explore new opportunities for collaboration and innovation in the space sector.


The Techritory Ecosystem catalyses the advancement of future technologies through collaborative innovation. By uniting industry leaders, academic pioneers, policymakers, and innovators, it fosters a dynamic ecosystem where ideas transform into impactful solutions. With over 600 speakers and guests in attendance, this event is an impactful platform for space innovation in Europe.


During this event, space strategy and directions for the next Horizon Europe Cluster 4 “Digital, Industry and Space” work program for 2026-2027 was unveiled:


  • Securing Europe’s Access to Space

  • Enabling Operations in Space

  • Turning Space Assets into Earth Solutions

  • Advancing Science and Exploration

  • Safeguarding the Space Environment

  • Strengthening Technological Sovereignty

  • Growing Europe’s Space Economy
