In 2025, SHIFT partners Andrea Pallotta and Didier Belot, STMicroelectronics, held a workshop titled “Mixed-Signal RFIC in SiGe:C BiCMOS for mm-Wave Antenna-in-Package and Antenna-in-Module Solutions” during the IMS-RFIC2025.

IMS-RFIC 2025, held in San Francisco from 15–20 June 2025, brought together leading researchers, engineers, industry experts, and innovators from across the global RF and microwave community. As part of the renowned “Microwave Week”, the event combined the IEEE MTT-S International Microwave Symposium (IMS), the RFIC Symposium, ARFTG and a major industry exhibition, creating one of the world’s largest platforms for advances in RF, microwave, millimetre-wave, and wireless integrated circuit technologies.

The conference featured technical sessions, workshops, panel discussions, and industry showcases covering topics such as 5.5G and 6G communications, phased arrays, satellite systems, AI for RF circuits, sensing technologies and next-generation wireless applications. IMS-RFIC 2025 also provided valuable opportunities for networking, collaboration and knowledge exchange between academia and industry, while highlighting the latest scientific and technological developments shaping the future of telecommunications and microwave engineering.
